Day-wise itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Dalhousie

Meet at the confirmed Chandigarh or Amritsar pickup point and travel to Dalhousie. After check-in, explore the central church area and Gandhi Chowk at a relaxed pace. Meal plan: Dinner.

Day 2: Khajjiar and Chamba

After breakfast, drive to Khajjiar for its meadow and lake setting, then continue to Chamba for selected heritage sights. Return to Dalhousie before evening; some stops may be adjusted for road conditions. Meal plan: Breakfast + dinner.

Day 3: Dalhousie to Dharamshala

Drive to Dharamshala and check in. If time allows, visit the tea gardens, State War Memorial or Norbulingka’s cultural campus during its public hours. Meal plan: Breakfast + dinner.

Day 4: McLeod Ganj and Dharamshala

Visit the monastery area, Bhagsu and a Dhauladhar viewpoint such as Naddi. Keep time for local cafés and shops; religious sites may have visitor rules and restricted areas. Meal plan: Breakfast + dinner.

Day 5: Dharamshala to Amritsar

Travel to Amritsar and check in. Visit the Golden Temple precinct in the evening if the road arrival time permits; follow the site’s dress and visitor guidance. Meal plan: Breakfast + dinner.

Day 6: Amritsar heritage and departure

After breakfast, visit Jallianwala Bagh or another nearby heritage stop, then transfer to the airport or railway station. The day’s sightseeing depends on your booked departure time. Meal plan: Breakfast.
